Week 5 - 1st Road Trip and Baby Yoga

Charlie got his one month visit with his new pediatrician Dr. Joe. Everything checked out ok. Charlie got another vaccine shot and handled it like any tough Lyon would. He is a "well nourished" baby weighing in at 10 lbs. 5 oz! Not missing many meals around here.

Charlie took his first overnight road trip. Nicole wasn't quite ready to handle a night alone (not to mention fighting of a cold) so we piled up in the care and went with Dad on a business trip to San Luis Obispo and Visalia in southern California staying overnight in a hotel. Riding in the car must have been so soothing to him because he slept about 99% of the time. Only woke up at stop signs, in traffic, and at the end of the trip. He was born with wheels on his butt, just like his Marme and his Granny!

Mom got a gift card for an Apple iPhone for her birthday, but hasn't been able to cash in on it for a while do to the long lines at the stores. We finally found a shorter line at one store near our house and headed over to get the phone. Charlie was a trooper and slept in line while we waited.

The Tudors came to visit this weekend and Charlie got some good snuggling time with Elizabeth. While the boys were out bike riding and partaking in beers, Elizabeth and I did plenty of catching up! She is so cute with her little preggers belly :) Charlie was having a bit of an upset stomach so Elizabeth showed us some baby Yoga. Charlie loved it! I even pulled out this trick today when he had a bit of a crying spell and it really works.

After a long week daddy and Charlie enjoy a relaxing Sunday. awww...too cute!
